I wrote down a few memories from Halloweens past. Somewhere there are pictures, too, but I have no idea where they are.
I've set up a new web log for the upcoming NaNoWriMo challenge. Updates here may be few and far between during the month of November because of NaNoWriMo, so you might just want to check out The Days of NaNoWriMo 2003 to see what's going on! Cheers!

Y'all, that was the best weekend of my life! Seriously, it was awesome!! I got home safe and sound last evening, and immediately missed everyone I'd just met.
Well, I'm off to JournalCon bright and early tomorrow morning. I'm very excited about this for several reasons: it's my first trip to Texas, I'll get to hang out with some super cool people, and meet even more super cool people! It's going to totally rock!
Well, I had an awesome trip to Catalina Island with my friend Jewel this past weekend! It was my first time on the Island, but it certainly won't be my last! The Island is so beautiful, and there are plenty of sights and activities to keep a person busy for quite some time. However, we only had a few days and one goal: REST AND RELAXATION!!! We did schedual a Day of Beauty at the Island Breeze Day Spa, but that pretty much goes along with the relaxation part. And we did do some shopping, but I always find that to be a restful activity, too. We did take a tour around the city of Avalon in a rented golf cart, but that wasn't terribly strenuous, and besides, it provided some great photographic opportunities! Mostly, though, we sat in C.C. Gallagher's sidewalk cafe and drank coffee and read books, or popped into a bar for some drinks and fried calamari, and basically took it easy!

So, my vacation begins tomorrow. I'm heading down south to visit Thellie and Jewel, and then Jewel and I are spending the weekend in Avalon, on Catalina Island. I won't be able to update, but I should be home by Tuesday (Just in time to vote! Yay!). Hopefully I'll have a lot of great pictures to share when I get back. Cheers!
