I had another awesome weekend! Not quite as wonderful as last weekend hanging out at the Pechanga Resort with my friend Jewel (check out the entries in my journal), but a great weekend, nevertheless. I did some more purging of my closets, and got rid of tons of useless old clothes, making way for my new springy outfits. I also had a massive purge session with my rubber stamps, and have a ton I'm going to get rid of. I think I'll start trying to sell them online, then later at the yard sale. There's just too many to just give to Goodwill! Here's some other random positives for this Monday:
1. I lost 1.5 pounds over the weekend!
2. I got all my veggies and salad fixin's prepared for the week!
3. The sun is out and it's nice and warm and pretty!
4. My hair is cooperating today!
5. My Happy Ball says I'm a winner! (Gee. I wish I'd had that thing at Pechanga!)
Well, I had been toying with the idea of going to Cambria this weekend for a walk along the boardwalk, a nice lunch in the oceanside cafe, and perhaps wander through one of the many quaint, little shops. I thought it would be nice to venture off to a peaceful place with rocky beaches, lounging sea lions and crashing waves. Now, however, I'm thinking I'll just stay home this weekend.
I got back from my outrageously awesome vacation yesterday afternoon. It was so nice to visit with Jewel again, and to get out of town for some fun! The Casino was wonderful, and, naturally, I managed to get a little shopping in as well. I'm working on uploading my recaps, and downloading my pictures, and will hopefully have it all up and ready by this weekend! Cheers!
Woo! I'm on vacation!! I'm off to get a mani/pedi, then home to pack my bags. I'm getting up early tomorrow to drive to Jewel's place for five days of fun, fun, fun!!!
1. Our new Craft Armoire!!
Yeah. Sorry for the lengthy silence. Been busy: work, life, class, blah, blah, blah . . .
Anyway, the craft armoire mom and I ordered a while ago finally arrived earlier this week, and today, we put it together. It was really easy, and went much faster than we thought it would. We originally planned to do half of it today, and the other half tomorrow, but the instructions were clear and and the illustrations were helpful, and we just, well, got it all done! It is, quite simply, the most amazingly awesome piece of furniture EVER!

Just check out all the storage inside this thing! And, this pull-out work space? It's HUGE and SOLID and STURDY!!
